KIKO · BANA — Keep it, keep on
Run slow. Go far.
Running kit for women who are in this for the years, not the season. Five pieces, cut for easy miles and long Sundays, made in small runs so we can fix what does not work.
Straight to it
The pieces people start with.
Bags
Keep On Tote
Recycled canvas day tote with one internal sleeve and straps long enough to carry over a winter jacket. It holds a change of kit and a laptop at the same time.
Bags
Daily Nylon Bag
Light ripstop nylon that folds flat into a pocket, with a water-resistant base for the days you set it down on wet ground. The zip pocket actually stays shut.
Training
Steady Training Bra
Medium support with bonded edges and no clasp, sized XS to XL. Designed to be forgotten about for an hour, which is the only review that matters.
The collection
Two ways to carry it, three ways to train in it.

Two pieces

A canvas tote and a nylon carry, both sized for a change of kit and the rest of your day.

Three pieces

Goes to Uganda
School fees, sewing courses and safer housing for young mothers and their children.
Why slow
Growth comes from running slowly, steadily, and for longer than you meant to.
01
Slow
When your breath gets heavy, ease off until you could hold a conversation. That pace is not a lesser workout; it is the one that keeps working for years.
02
Steady
Three honest runs a week beats one heroic one. Consistency is what turns a body and a mind into something that can take more.
03
Meaningful
The same is true of help. Not a one-off gesture, but small steps repeated long enough to change what a family can plan for.

The easy miles
The easy days are the training.
Most of what makes you a runner happens at a pace that feels like nothing much. We write about that — how to hold it, why it works, and what it took to build kit that disappears while you do it.

What people tell us after a season.
I bought the tights for a 10k plan and ended up wearing them four days a week. The waistband is the only one I have stopped thinking about.
Minseo

The shell packs into nothing, which means it is actually in my bag when the rain starts. That sounds small until it happens twice.
Hana

I came for the story and stayed because the bra fits. Both things can be true, and I would rather my money went somewhere.

Where the name came from
KIKO, keep on. BANA, in balance.
Kikobana started in time spent with young mothers in Uganda, many of whom had their first child as teenagers and carried both the work of raising them and the judgement that came with it. What they needed was not a gesture. It was time, opportunity and someone who kept showing up.
That is the same thing running teaches. Not speed — repetition. So we built a brand around it: make a few things properly, sell them honestly, and send a fixed share of every order back to the place the idea came from.

From the journal
Why we run slowMost of your running should feel easy enough to hold a conversation. Here is what that pace actually does, and why the brand is named after it.
Inside the long run tightsFour waistband samples, two pocket positions and one fabric weight we argued about for a month. What it takes to make one piece properly.
